One of the things I love about Chicago is that the city seems to take on different personalities between night and day. Daylight brings wonderful family activities and awesome shopping while the night brings endless possibilities for grow-up fun. Basically I get to indulge in nearly every whim - and I love it. I love almost every aspect of Chicago: taking the bus and train, working in a sky scraper, living a depression era building (even if it does take 10 minutes for my shower water to get hot)and most of all the potential for meeting people is ENDLESS. I've always thought of myself as borderline shy; I don't mind being around people I know, but meeting new people and putting myself out there is not my favorite thing in the world. But when you show up in a city knowing one person (barely) as I did last summer, you learn to snap out of that pretty quickly. And so, here I am, one year into this little adventure, and I want to share it with random anonymous people on the web... haha.
